Review: Once it is in TIFF! Loved the book and pretty much everything else Joe Hill written.The film has a large and mainly discussed the correct start, but eventually fell off the rails and lose yourself. He does not abound character development for most of the characters, especially the killer Merrin, which I feel is very important to the plot, in book.Mostly he felt inconsistent, rough, unfinished and rushed.Rumor states that movie many production problems, including exchange editors several times and it certainly shows. And also some very funny and do not need CG work it is safe to say that the film should be delayed for about a year, maybe even a few repeated escape in Id say Confrontation scene with the killer, most processing, when they just feel ugly and boring; I also want to say that the film could do with half an hour longer least it should be more scenes where the characters were young.Daniel TIP TOP do work that shows Ig and Juno Temple as Merrin; David Morse is pretty big in it and James Remar and many other actors, although Max Minghella was not enough material to work with imo.Well she argues that it is safe decent film, but it can and should be better with the right amount of time. It just needed a fondness and care.All in all its worth watching, decent adaptation, with some scenes straight out of the book. It captures the feeling of the book quite some miracle scenes.Another recently I heard a rumor that there is a cut of the film, as they showed at TIFF, I hope it ends up being the theatrical version, but I do not think the directors cut video is a must !
